William Thomas Theatre
An excellent theatre with easy access by car or public transport .
The theatre has free parking and is within 2
minutes of JCT: 24 off the M60 .

The William Thomas Theatre seats up to 158
people dependent on stage size required and type of event ( please
see seating configurations )The auditorium has a stage size of
(6.0 D x 11.5 W metres max ) This Area can be used with the a
performance are on the flat this floor space is sprung and with
dance floor Lemarc in black suitable for all types of dance . The
stage can be reduced in size to suit all types of event . The
auditorium contains fixed raked seating on the upper level and
raked retractable seating on the lower level enabling us to adapt
to different types of events . eg A cabaret table seating
configuration which allows for smaller audiences of up to 100
people to be seated at tables for events such as Balls,ceremonies
etc that may suit a more formal layout. There are extra seating
areas for dining and stage arrangements to suit fashion shows /
Cinema screen showings and so on .
The auditorium equipped with a full range of technical facilities
including lights, sound equipment, amplifiers, speakers etc. The
stage also includes a large screen for showing films .
STUDIO SPACE: We have 5 studios of various sizes
to hire if required.
STANDING EVENTS: When the auditorium seating is
retracted we can accommodate up to 350 people standing and seated on
the upper level mezzanine 74.
COSTUME HIRE: Costume hire is available please
contact us on theatre hire / info or email .
SHOOTS / RECORDINGS The auditorium is available
for fashion shoots ,filming and catwalk shows .
If you wish hire our spaces to hold an alternative event
please call to discuss and we will try our upmost to accommodate
you and your event .
DRESSING ROOMS : Backstage are 2 dressing
rooms with seating for up to approx 35 performers (approximately 20
in the large dressing room, and 15 in the smaller dressing room) -
depending on the space required for costumes etc. We have a long
corridor off the changing rooms with direct access with space for
hanging rails for costumes .( these can be provided if required )
Additional dressing rooms are also available .
STUDIOS & SPACE :We have 5 studios to hire
if required .( All are sprung and have dance flooring and sound
equipment ) . These can be available for multiple uses .
ONLINE TICKET SALES /BOOKINGS : We facility to
take online bookings.
